In photoshop, we did a personal photo retouching project. We learned how to use retouching tools like the spot healing brush tool, the patch tool, the clone stamp tool, and the healing brush tool. As you can see in the pictures above, I used a couple of these tools. I removed the water damage from most of the picture using the spot healing brush tool and the clone stamp tool. I removed the strangers in the background using the patch tool. It was a challenge to remove the water damage without hurting the look of the original picture, but I managed to finish with the picture mostly unharmed.
Practice Photo Retouching
Original
Edited
This is basically the same thing as the personal photo I retouched. This was some practice we did in class while we were learning about the certain tools.
Personal Selections Project
This was a project we did in and out of class where we took pictures of scenes and ourselves (and maybe other people). We used the selection tools we learned about to move ourselves from one picture to the other. We created a storyboard to go with scenes, mine being a simple story of me being chased by my toy panda.
Advanced Compositing
This project was mainly learning about things like smart filters, lighting options, composition, and pasting within a selected area.
Hands On Recreation
This project was about recreating an advertisement we hand created in the beginning of the year. We used our knowledge of selection tools, text tools, and several other tools. I chose to advertise one of my favorite games, Animal Crossing. The colors are a little bright, but I think it looks pretty good otherwise.
Flyer Preparation
We did some practice projects before we were going to start a big flyer project for a school event. The words on the name was kinda tricky, and so were the transparent circles. But I think everything came out nice in the end.
